“ HOPE” is a painting that was inspired by the tragedy of all the whales dying from overfishing and getting caught in fishing nets. Ironically I finished this painting the day that this cruise ship came into NYC a with a dead whale across its bow. I was given the download that we need to stop overfishing and depleting the great ocean of her "gifts" for two years for her to replenish herself. We need to create more fishing farms. We as humans take and take and forget that we share the earth with gods other beautiful creatures. The whales, dolphins, and all creatures that depend on fish and the nature cycle of life are dying rapidly all at our hands. The little boy in the boat represents our next generation. They are the light, and they see the mistakes we have made and this gives us HOPE for the future. Thank you beautiful ones who are helping be the change.

Metal Giclee:
This is a new process that lends it self to CLAIRS vibrant colors. The process is created using a die-sublimation process in which the inks are transferred and then heated onto a special type of metal that locks in the color, gloss and vibrancy! The smaller mini's on metal make a great statement, and come with hanging hardware on the back and are ready to put on the wall as soon as you get it. Or, If you are looking for a real stand alone vibrant art piece, we can do a custom size if you choose! This is a great option if you have a lot of sun, as they are more UV resistant.
