Stephanie Clair
"Awakening"
Clair’s bright colors, positive reflections and soulful moments instantly put ones mind at peace. Each painting starts with a vision or a dream.. then once created serves as a portal, where each one can see their own life’s journey within the story of the painting.
Clair's ability to bring this soulful human quality to fruition through her art stems from her dreams and her own life experiences, and how she views the world. She believes Art is the stored honey of the human soul…its a way to surround yourself yourself with things that reflect who you are, how you want to be and how you see the world. It puts you in a more positive, colorful, mindful kind of light. As a believer in the law of attraction, my hope is my paintings & messages can act as a vision board - to help others manifest their dreams—whether it's finding love, nurturing a family, embarking on adventures, or uncovering one's true potential.”
Recently, I have been deeply inspired by the old growth forests and the majestic landscapes of the Pacific Northwest. These pieces carry messages close to my heart. The stories I create are interwoven with the paintings and touching on themes of survival, surrender, gratitude, spiritual growth, and environmental awareness. With each brushstroke, I aim to capture the beauty of nature and convey its importance in our lives. We each have the potential for awakening our true selves... and I believe art can help ignite the spark.
Born in Washington State, then spent her teen years in upstate NY, Clair drew her way through those cold winter days. Soon after high school she moved to Virginia where she got a BFA in painting/design at ODU. She has shown her work in many galleries all over the United States. She now resides on Orcas island Washington with her children Milo and Ayla, escaping to Mexico and San Diego when she can to follow the sun!
