This is a recreation of the first version I did of Haven in a landscape formate.
This painting was inspired one evening during a ride on my Vespa up a windy, tree-lined road, full of giant maples, towering pines, and other magnificent trees. As I crested the hill, I looked up to see sunlight cascading majestically through the treetops.The way the light filtered through the green and blue foliage created this glowing copper-yellow shimmer as it moved. It was so breathtaking, I literally had to pull over—otherwise I would’ve ended up in the ditch!
In that moment, it felt like there was a great “Mother Tree” at the center, and the other trees were gently leaning in toward her—protective, loving, soaking in her ancient wisdom.
I love that feeling of being completely overtaken by nature’s raw beauty—how she shows up in her magic when you least expect it.
As soon as I got home, I grabbed a sketchbook to capture the image before it faded, and immediately started getting that color down on canvas.
ge I saw, and had to get busy getting that color to canvas before that image went away.
Giclee:

Each custom high definition reproduction, features its own unique set of details, and there are no two in existence that are identical. She can even change the people in the painting to look like you, change hair eye color, add a favorite pet, favorite wine label, write an anniversary date in the clouds or keep it exactly as the original. Each painting is finished with her signature on the front and signed and numbered on the back.

Metal Giclee:
This is a new process that lends it self to CLAIRS vibrant colors. The process is created using a die-sublimation process in which the inks are transferred and then heated onto a special type of metal that locks in the color, gloss and vibrancy! The smaller mini's on metal make a great statement, and come with hanging hardware on the back and are ready to put on the wall as soon as you get it. Or, If you are looking for a real stand alone vibrant art piece, we can do a custom size if you choose! This is a great option if you have a lot of sun, as they are more UV resistant.
